On October 13 and 15, Kuehne+Nagel participated to the SITL 2021! This was the opportunity to meet up again our customers and discuss around new thematics.
This year, our stand, lighter, less energy-consuming, using less wood in its construction in favor of more recyclable materials, highlights Kuehne+Nagel's commitment to eco-responsibility as part of our Net Zero Carbon program. A commitment symbolized by a tree, placed in the center, around which visitors were able to learn more about Net Zero Carbon program. This tree was replanted at the end of the show.
This year, Kuehne+Nagel teams welcomed our customers directly on our stand but also on our Semi Road Show: a demonstration semi-trailer! The opportunity to try a driving simulator and to take a seat in the driver's cabin! A successful exercise to be aware of our drivers everyday life, not so easy!
"Maritime Day" Sponsor
This year, Kuehne+Nagel was sponsor of the "Maritime Day". Thus, we had the pleasure to lead a conference on Monday, September 13th.
Otto Schacht, Vice President of Global Sea Logistics at Kuehne+Nagel, came for this occasion to discuss the importance of being flexible to face the daily challenges of Sea Logistics while simultaneously leading a vital and necessary transformation towards more responsible freight.
A point that was supported by Boris Herrmann, skipper of the seaexplorer (Team Malizia), finisher of the Vendée Globe, who shared with us his experience regarding the health of the oceans and his vision of more sustainable transport.
An interesting and unique moment of exchange!
