The partnership between Trimble and Kuehne+Nagel France s is the fruit of a gradual construction over several months. A test phase was carried out in 2020 when the crisis was in full swing and the results lived up to expectations. The choice having been validated following this trial period, the Trimble units were installed in early 2021 on 100% of our fleet of 1,100 vehicles.
Net Zero Carbon goal
The objective for Kuehne+Nagel, with the installation of this solution, is to collect data in order to strengthen its eco-driving policy shared with its drivers. This should help reduce CO2 emissions by -4% the first year and then -2.5% the following years.
Digital at the service of training
Kuehne+Nagel uses Trimble's digital interface to provide real-time field feedback to further improve driver training. This new tool makes it possible to offer more targeted training and to promote more environmentally friendly driving.
Fabien Dusserre, Director France at Trimble, adds: “We are delighted that this large-scale project carried out jointly with Kuehne + Nagel is progressing so well. This success confirms the maturity of our offer for key account customers. With this solution, we are supporting Kuehne+Nagel on a long-term basis towards its goal of carbon neutrality ”.
We chose the Trimble solution because it demonstrated during the test phase the quality of the proposed data analysis and its experience in Eco-driving policy. The implementation of this solution is part of our Net Zero Carbon plan: Kuehne+Nagel is committed to carbon neutrality and the telematics solution contributes to reducing our footprint.
